Want to get rid of that game that’s collecting dust in your closet? Want to score some great deals on used games? Come to the auction Sunday afternoon! This is one of our favorite events at conventions.
For sellers: Bring your game to the front desk and fill out an auction slip to reserve a spot in the auction to sell your game.
- There is no fee to purchase an auction slip.
- All game sales are subject to 10% selling fee to support the convention.
- Reserves allowed, but in order to discourage games that don’t sell, a 3% fee of the reserve price will be charged if the game doesn’t sell.
- There’s no fee for games without a reserve that don’t sell.
- Multiple games can be combined into a single lot for auction.
- Minimum bid is $5.
- Want to donate your games instead of getting money? Donations are tax deductible and we can provide a receipt upon request.
- Initial limit 10 auctions slips per person (donations excepted). Slips will be distributed first come, first served.
- Games may be delivered either in advance of the convention (reach out via our contact form to coordinate) or to the front desk at the convention.
For buyers: Show up Sunday at 12:00 – 4:00 at the auction and be prepared to bid
- Pay with credit card (3% fee) or cash when you win the auction.
- Running tabs available: show up at 11:45 to get a bidding card with deposit, then come after the auction to settle your tab and pick up your games.
Flea Market

MañanaCon has first-come, first serve spots for attendees to display their games at the con. Each attendee can take a single shelf or half a table.
Sellers post prices for their games (either print out a sheet and keep it with the games, or put some post-its on your games). When somebody wants to buy the game, they can find the seller at the con by reaching out on Discord, arrange payment, and take the game. Easy!
Caveats: these are used games on a direct sale and we can’t vouch for condition or completeness! Ask the seller for info. Sellers, make sure you keep an eye on your games at the convention. It’s a high-traffic area in the main room of the convention with access only to con attendees, but we won’t have anybody posted to watch the games or take payment for you. We’ll lock up the room when we leave every night.
Tournament – Space Base
Get your name on the official MañanaCon trophy and win a game!
Once again we’re hosting an official MañanaCon tournament, and we want you to play! This year we’ll be playing Space Base, John D. Clair’s engine-building dice game.
The tournament will proceed with opening heats early in the weekend:
- Friday at 7:00 pm
- Saturday at 10:00 am
- Saturday at 2:00 pm
We may open up additional opening heats on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday as demand requires. Each player may only play in one opening heat. The winner of each opening heat will get the chance to compete in the Final on Sunday at 10:00. Each opening heat must have a minimum of two players for the winner to be eligible for the final.
The winner of the final will get a free game and will have their name engraved on the official MañanaCon trophy! This trophy immortalizes winners of our tournaments year after year after year. This will be the only chance to get your name on the trophy for this year, so make your plans to play today!

Play-to-Win
This year, we are introducing a Play-to-Win shelf at MañanaCon!
Here is how it works:
Choose a Game: Pick a game from the Play-to-Win shelf to try. Please only borrow one game at a time.
Play & Put Away: Enjoy the game, then clean it up and return it to the shelf.
Log Your Name(s): Every player will add their name to the game’s corresponding sheet in the Play-to-Win binder. Playing the same game more than once will NOT increase your chances of winning that game.
Profit!: You have a chance to win each of the games you play. A name will be randomly selected for each game, and the winner will get to keep it!
Games can be played anytime between Thursday and Sunday at 2:00 PM. The winners will be announced on Discord on Sunday as after the auction on Sunday. Winners must come to the front desk before 6:00 p.m. to pick up their games.
